Recordings of Dick and the Pickflickers
February 22, 2009 (Richland Hall, Cele, Texas)
Roster: Richard Ayers, George Kaupas, Brad Newberry, Wesley Bohannon
Our first time not playing in somebody's house.
Recording done with a Marantz PMD620 direct from the Behringer PMH3000 board.
Unfortunately the vocals are too loud and the lead guitars are too quiet in some of the mixes, among other oversights like not being able to hear ourselves well enough in the monitors.
Key moment, seven-plus hours after arriving, when George flubs the opening riff of "You Can't Do That":
Richard: "Suck it up."
George: "Sucking."
Not every song was recorded; some may have video with alternate audio.
Most browsers should show a small "play" button after the song number; click that to play the song within the page.
